From Monday 6th to Sunday 19th March 2017, 330 schools in the Mathletics community competed for the March Maths Challenge crown. The event challenged students to earn as many points as possible on Mathletics during the two-week period, by completing live games and answering curriculum questions.

Open to all Mathletics schools, there was a great effort from all involved. St. Paul’s School in Barcelona, Spain, set the standard at the halfway point, and proceeded to finish first! Congratulations to all at St. Paul’s School for your incredible dedication to the Challenge. In second place was the International School of Schaffhausen in Switzerland; third place was Robin Hood Junior School in Sutton, UK. Congratulations, great effort! Full and final results can be viewed on the challenge webpage.

As well as a sense of overwhelming pride and victory, the 3 top schools also receive money towards their subscription renewal, or a subscription extension; plus a celebration pack including a trophy, wristbands & special certificates.

The March Maths Challenge was free and simple to participate in – a fantastic way to get students engaged in maths, and have fun! Well done to all schools involved. Watch this space for the next Mathletics challenge…
