Workshop 1: “Maximise your Mathletics”

New to Mathletics, need a refresher or simply looking to learn how to maximise the use of your subscription across your school? This 75-minute workshop is the perfect session for you, covering the essential tools and resources for teachers using Mathletics.

  • Held in a school setting, hosted by your local Mathletics regional trainer.

  • Includes a tour through the key features of the Teacher Console.

  • Discover how to set up learning groups, assign tasks as well as view and use student results data.

  • Explore the Mathletics eBook library as well as the open-ended rich learning tasks and online assessments.

  • The workshop explores pupil and parental engagement, sharing tried and tested ideas to support this.

  • This is a “hands-on” workshop, including a Q&A slot and time for teachers to get familiar with activities and the resources.

  • All attendees will receive a training presentation to use back at their own school, plus some Mathletics goodies!

Meet Jane.

Jane Fisher is part of the team supporting our schools across Yorkshire and the North East, as our regional training manager.

A former teacher herself, Jane has over 8 years’ experience of using Mathletics in her previous schools and brings this raft of knowledge and advice to the workshops she hosts.

Workshop 2: “Captivating learners & reducing teacher workload.”

This engaging workshop will explore how to best use Mathletics to keep pupils captivated and motivated to learn and practise maths. Alongside this, find out how Mathletics can support teachers and reduce workload.

  • Held in a school setting, hosted by your local Mathletics regional trainer.

  • Includes a look at how Mathletics keeps pupils motivated and captivated to keep practising through rewards, engaging content and an ownership of the learning journey. Plus a look at the many tools and resources designed specifically to reduce teacher workload.

  • This is a “hands-on” workshop, including a Q&A slot and time for participants to explore the ideas shared.

  • All attendees will receive a training presentation to use back at their own school, plus some Mathletics goodies!

Be a trailblazer: Host your own workshop!

Mathletics teacher workshops are always very popular and an excellent way to absorb all of the best practice from our experts and teachers across the country! Looking for a completely bespoke option? Why not host a workshop in your own school…

  • Held in your own school, invite as many of your teaching and support team as you like!

  • Includes a motivational Mathletics assembly for your students, followed by a staff training session after school hours.

  • Hosted by your local Mathletics representative, the workshop is planned in advanced to meet your school’s specific needs, following discussions with you and an analysis of the school’s Mathletics usage.

  • Schools will receive a training presentation to use during future inset training days, plus some Mathletics goodies!

  • Bespoke workshops are priced at £300 for unlimited attendees from the school.
